Large Vintage Carved Mahogany Sculpture of Embracing Lovers
Beautifully crafted carved wood sculpture, featuring a couple embracing. Carved out of one substantial piece of solid mahogany, where the depth and grain pops throughout the piece. The man stands to the left with his arms around the woman’s waist and on his shoulder and the woman stands in a dress with her arms around the man. Skillfully pierce carved, a masterful example of craftsmanship. Measures approximately 36in tall x 11in wide x 11in deep. Very good vintage condition, one small chip to man’s right pinky toe as pictured, some unevenness and wear to the finish throughout as pictured but does not detract from the piece.
