SOLD - Pair of Antique Gum Drop Ottoman Stools in Maroon Velvet
Fabulous pair of antique ottomans, in a unique gum drop shape. I would date these to the very early 20th century, very heavy and nicely constructed, and they may be stuffed with horse hair but I’m not absolutely certain. Upholstered in original maroon velvet, with four segments meeting in the middle and large dramatic stitching. Has a Victorian or Art Deco flair, and I think they are of those eras, give or take. Each ottoman measures 18in radius x 13in tall. Great vintage condition, wear throughout on the upholstery as pictured.
