Striking Shona marble sculpture from Zimbabwe. Pierced carved with a negative space out of a piece of green marble with a dramatic streak of lighter veining that goes across the entire composition. Signed along bottom edge Willard B, likely for Willard Bopoto. The piece was just mounted to a piece of black marble. Measures 9in x 9in x 12in tall. Good vintage condition, minor scratching on back and a few minor chips as pictured.
