SOLD - Vintage Outsider Art Layered Etched Glass Skeletons Glass Art
Unique art piece of several skeletons in glass art. Appears to be layered blown glass, with clear glass poured and smoothed over a section of glass wherein the artist etched and colored stenciled skeletons, possibly sandblasted, over a black backed piece of glass. I’m not exactly sure on the technique, it’s mysterious outsider art and I can’t quite figure out the technique. Framed but it does not appear to be original, as the backing does not seem to match the glass section, it may be glued down into a reused frame by the artist. Measures overall 9.25in x 7.25in. Good vintage condition, wear on frame, a few minor scratches on glass as pictured.
